The new Blog/Article system is up and running at BuckeyePlanet! Check out the link in the dark "navigation bar" at the top of most pages called "Blogs". There you can read the Blogs/Articles from here going forward. You can also leave comments/responses up to 500 characters. The previous Blogs (listed & linked below) have also been copied into the new system, so you can find all you need in one sport. I'll leave this thread and the links to old Blogs for the time being, but in the future check out the front page for the "Featured Blog" or go the the Blog Link in the navigation bar.

At the moment we have one category for the blogs called "Football". In the near future we will break into smaller divisions (Recruiting, Old School, Other Sports, etc.). Hopefully you'll leave some comments for the folks who are writing some outstanding stuff. I'd be interested to know your thoughts on the Blog/Article system in general. Like it? Don't like it? Don't know what the heck it is? Please these those type of responses on this thread.

Thanks - 3yards

There is a new feature on BuckeyePlanet called the "Buckeye Blog". It is an area of the front page where featured writers will be posting their blogs (articles, stories, whatever you choose to call it). It has received a nice reception from many members, and the writing has been outstanding to this point. A blog "runs" for approximately 1-2 days and then is replaced with the next blog (story). This had led to some questions. "Where is the blog from yesterday?" is heard quite a bit. Well, all the blogs are moved to a "storage" area of the News Forum. You can find them there in different categories (April, May, June, etc.). To make things a bit easier, I'll list them here with a link to their location in the storage area of the News Forums.

Blog -- (weB LOG)
A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." Blogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog.

Postings on a blog are almost always arranged in chronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominently.
