BuckeyePlanet Mock Draft

OK, since I'm the commissioner, and the next team is owned by a scUM fan....I am envoking my right to move this along. Carolina is up, and their team needs are: FS, OT, OLB, DT, WR, and RB. In the first round, they picked up CB Pac Man Jones.

3 Votes for any player will make him Carolina's pick. I vote: Ernest Shazor

(I also have NDC's next pick)

I feel this pick is EASY if this guy was still here this late in the draft. This was our wish list guy for a second round pick, we had him likely going somewhere in the late 1st round, so the Houston Texans are happy to select Anttaj Hawthorne, DT, from Wisconsin. We needed a tackle on our line badley. Definitely one of the top 3 tackles in the draft. He has the quickness, size, and strength to be one of the best run stoppers in the game.

Anttaj Hawthorne dropped to the 2nd round, where the Texans gladly scooped him up.

With the 48th pick of the 2005 nfl draft, the cincinnati bengals select Luis Castillo, DT, Northwestern.

The bengals are shocked this talent is still here. Our scouting team had him rated the same as travis johnson and should be an immediate impact on our defensive line.

With this mid-2nd round selection the Minnysoda Vikings are shocked, shocked that this talent is still available....

The Vikings select-QB Adrian McPherson-AFL.......We think Adrian could easily be the best QB in the draft and a future top 5 league QB....

Had McPherson not been available, Mike Nugent would have been our selection...

Mike Nugent would just like to remind everybody of the Marshall game for no particular reason.

OK, Buckeye Maniac is on the clock, and he was last online around 12:30 yesterday. So if he can get here before his team gets three votes he can pick whoever he wants. Other than that, three votes = St. Louis' pick (which might be a good thing considering the first round pick :p). Team needs for the Rams are OT, DE, LB, S, and OG. I think the three(five really) choices that make sense for the second round for St. Louis are:

  • Adam Terry, OT, Syracuse
  • Matt McCoy, OLB, San Diego State
    • Marcus Johnson, OG, Ole Miss
    • Elton Brown, OG, Virginia
    • Evan Mathis, OG, Alabama
3 votes moves it on for Cravin Morehead, and I have Jacksonville's pick already submitted.
