Buckeyes from your hometown/HS

I was actually in HS at Centerville when AJ Hawk, Ryan Hawk, and Nuge were there. Those were some exciting seasons.

On Alumni night in '04 Nuge and Hawk showed up to watch the game from the sidelines, and throw balls around with the kids.

When Tamaska was there I had long graduated, but the cool thing about the first playoff game held in Centerville Stadium was that Herbstreit was on the Jumbotron welcoming the fans in a sort of video that listed Centerville's accomplisments from the past. I thought it was really cool to have Herbie come back to Centerville to do something like that.

Ferg and Denlinger are Troy natives. There are probably more, but none that come to mind. Brewer is considered one of the reasons Coop lost his job. Larry Walker is from Troy as well and has been a pain in our ass as of late.

Lou Groza - Though he never played a down at Ohio State because of WW2. Was in that highly regarded 1942 freshman class.

Fred Bruney - Played 1950 to 1952. Has the INT record for one game. Was a 2 time Pro Bowler in the 1950's.

Bob Bruney - Lettered in 1962 and 1963 at fullback
