i would spell it the same as i would when spelling "fiancee" or "fiance." if a poster doesn't know what you are referring to with "two-time divorce," then that's his or her own fault. "twice-divorced candidate" would have been fine, too. of course, this likely wasn't considered. i doubt you even knew the distinction between "divorcee" and "divorce."
