I know the trial is set for April 4th, but at what point would these financial documents become public? Looks like Dec. 30th was some type of day in regards to the financial records...

Over on TigerDroppings they're saying Aubies should swallow hard...

And why is this being tracked on an osu.edu site?

On "Mark and Brian", a syndicated radio show out of LA, this morning, they were discussing Academy Awards. Mark started off by talking about how he believed it was between Mark Wahlberg and Colin Firth for Best Actor. Brian came on next and said that he believes that Mark Wahlberg is also a candidate along with...

*Cam Newton!*

They each then muttered quickly and back and forth:

"I didn't know."
"Huh?"
"What are you talking about?!"
etc.

It was a good morning.

I still can't beleive Auburn is going to play him with an ongoing investigation into possible extra benefites. Auburn should set a precident that their University is above all this and regardless of the NCAA stating he is available for the game, sit him. They need to let the country know that they won't tolerate this. Gene Chizik has an opportunity to really show his character here and do the right thing

Exactly. I would love to see Herbie answer the question Why should OSU be held to a higher standard than Auburn for a much smaller offense? Auburn is going to burn when this is all said and done, but none of the talking heads have anything to say about it. Fuck ESPiN

Cam Newton Day

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Auburn's Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Cam Newton has been honored by Alabama Gov. Bob Riley.

Riley declared that Saturday will be "Cameron Newton Day" in Alabama. Riley said the designation is in recognition of the Atlanta native's play on the field leading the Tigers to an undefeated record and a spot in Monday's national title game in Glendale, Ariz., against Oregon.

Riley said the special day also will honor Newton's work off the field mentoring children.

Riley gave a similar honor last year to Alabama running back and 2009 Heisman winner Mark Ingram before the Crimson Tide defeated Texas in the national championship game.

Riley boasted he could become the first governor who can brag about back-to-back national champions and Heisman winners from the same state.

What is wrong with today's athletic?? First, you have the Tebow god-like plaque in uf campus; then you have a DAY in a week being commemorated to a $200,000 college quarterback? WHAT THE HELL are these supposed adults thinking?

STUDPID, STUPID.

On the other hand, do you see the common denominator in these incidents?

South.
