Capital One Bowl: Michigan 41, Florida 35 (final)

I'll correct that for you, but I'll start with 2002 because Penn State mostly sucked 1997-2001 anyway.

2002: A catch ruled out of bounds was later revealed to be in bounds, plus phantom holding penalties and false starts. It was because of this game that action replay became a staple of college football.

2003 + 2004: Penn State sucked

2005: Two seconds were added onto the clock for no good reason, and Michigan won the game with negative-one seconds on the clock when Mario Manningham caught a pass while his foot was out of bounds.

2006: You legitimately won this one, but we played you to the wire. I'll admit that in any other environment it might not have been such a close game.

2007: We beat ourselves. Austin Scott, who was responsible for Buffalo holding a 3-0 lead over us at the end of the first quarter, fumbled his way to a Penn State defeat at Michigan (why he wasn't pulled like in the Buffalo game I'll never know).
You forgot about the sun in their eyes and the ky jelly incident in the lockerroom.

WTF is "action replay" ?

There's no need to lie to the kid. Even if they would have beaten you, they still would have been left out of the big dance.

Penn State's best year in AGES still wasn't good enough for a trip to the NC......meanwhile we're ready to go to our 3rd since Tressel started coaching.

Had they not added two seconds back onto the clock followed by an out-of-bounds catch by Manningham, Penn State, who destroyed Ohio State at Beaver Stadium, would have been in the Rose Bowl, while Ohio State would have been playing FSU in the Orange Bowl. Penn State finished at #3 that year, that game would have made the difference.

I know the score was close, but let's be honest, Ohio State was never really in that game. The 28-6 OSU victory over PSU the following year was actually a closer game than the 17-10 PSU victory over OSU.
It's true, you are a complete moron. Thanks for clarifying.

Are you constantly high?

If you're gonna list bullshit reasons why PSU lost to Meatchicken, you might as well own up to the fact that a 2 yard TD drive (in 3 plays) v. OSU in 05 was the difference.

I know they say you can't smell the internet, but ever time you post I smell feet.

Some stats from PSU's "Destruction" of Ohio State in 2005

First Downs, Ohio State 16-11
Total yards, Ohio State 230-195

PSU had a 3 play 2 yard drive for a TD....

Most damning:

The Rail...

What the fuck is wrong with you idiots. Penn isn't even a real State... whatever the fuck that's supposed to me, Ice cream man.

But, hey, on the bright side no PSU idiots were caught on camera assaulting Ohio State fans.

Both defenses were lethal, and shut down the premiere QBs & RBs for most of the day. Both offenses had a TD & FG drive each. Troy threw a "pick 6", the last 2 yards of which were run in by the offense.

Man, three absolute classic threads in a matter of days. This is quite a streak.

Guys, guys... we're getting sidetracked here. The real question is, how many points will Tim Tebow score on the Michigan defense? To make it simpler on you guys, and to save time and energy, just respond in multiples of 300.

The thought of Tebow against Michigan's D has got to make our resident Vulvarines shutter. Maybe Michigan "wins one for Lloyd" but damn, Tebow's a rich man's Dixon.
