Cavs 09-10 Season (official thread)

I'd love to have him on the Cavs, the guy can flat out score.

The Cavs don't have much to trade with at this point and the Warriors don't have much incentive to move Jackson. West or Boobie, along with JJ and Williams would get it done and might give the Warriors reason to pull the trigger. Can Jackson play the 2?

I know we don't have much we'd be willing to part with, just saying he would be a great addition. I don't actually think anything will actually happen.

Knicks offering LeBron own cable channel? | Truth&Rumors | FanNation

Knicks offering LeBron own cable channel? The latest LeBron to the Knicks rumor I've heard is that Cablevision - which owns the Knicks but not the Daily News - will circumvent the salary cap by giving LeBron his own channel. I don't know exactly how that will work but that's what I've heard. As of today, I say there is a 90 percent chance LeBron is coming to New York ... and 100 percent chance that I won't be watching the LeBron channel.
New York Daily News

:slappy: I don't know what to say anymore. Have fun with those Mike James jerseys y'all are having made up to wear to the draft and MSG this year you dumb cocksuckers!

I wish David Stern would be a little more serious about the probable tampering that's going on. I don't underestimate the capacity for somebody who writes for the Daily News to just make shit up - but you just know some of this stuff is going on. Stern has issued memos to the league's franchises, but you can bet that shit's gonna happen and he's not gonna lift a finger if it means the talk about LeBron dies down or if it means sanctions against a team in New York.

Kurz may be going to Denver rather than Cleveland. Doesn't leave much on the open market to fill the last roster spot.

The last spot doesn't matter much. The Cavs are in trouble if they have to rely on the guy who will probably only dress for 10 games this season. Be nice to find a project player that they can send to the DL for the season.

I did not mean to imply that it was the last player but they only have one more spot until they reach the roster max of 15 and they were looking for a big man that had some ball skills and could shoot from the outside. If they do not get Kurz, they probably will be looking at Jawad. Williams to fill the last man spot. He is the only player left at the Cavaliers have an interest in according to Windhorst

I'm fine with that. I thought Jawad was already on the roster anyway. Decent upside.

According to his agent, Kurz will be going to camp with the Cavaliers. He's also been spotted recently at the Cleveland Clinic Courts, playing with the rest of the team and a few other free agents. They can do much, much worse that Kurz as their 14th or 15th guy.
