Cavs 09-10 Season (official thread)

Not to make excuses... but sometimes getting that number one overall seed can wear the hell out of a team. And as a Kobe fan, I see nights where he's just no existent. Just like when you go to work, you have good days and bad days. I figure LBJ will have a huge game in Boston.

this would be remotely feasible if cleveland didn't rest their starters for the final 5 games of the year because they had the #1 overall seed sewn up 76 games in.

no, lebron has been a no show. it's not him playing bad, it's him giving no effort and showing absolutely no emotion or desire. there is clearly something going on off the court that has lead to this.
Yeah, this is beyond a bad game.

This is about him passively walking around the court. Not going to the rim. Giving no effort on defense. Not leading the team. Not talking. Showing no emotion. He just seems like a completely different human being the last week+ (minus game 3).

This is his team. It always has been. When they win- it's because of LeBron. When they lose- it's because of Mike Brown. Mike Brown is the head coach by name, and he's certainly had his struggles, but this is and always has been LeBron's team. He runs it. They go as he goes. And he's doing nothing to stop this ship from sinking.

I have no clue what to speculate. Elbow? New York? Betting? Partying/MVP hangover?

He's not in the game at all, mentally. It looks like he's tanking it, with no care in the world and it's pathetic. He has to get called out.

Good possibility and if there is I would have to say this is the last game in a cavs uni

I've never seen such an effortless game. This team is kicked....Deflated. Apathetic. What a joke.

Lebron is playing with no effort, as if he's going through the motions. Not sure what his problem is, but he was terrible tonight. Maybe he needs to spend less time on his image and more on his game.

As much as I'm enjoying game five this series isn't over, yet.

If the Cavs do manage to win games six and seven, however, I'll remember all of the diehard Cavs fans who gave up on the season in the 3rd quarter of game five...while they're jumping back on the wagon.
