Cavs-Hawks Second round series

There's a reason why they named the Finals MVP award after Bill Russell. He should be in the discussion.

However, anyone that saw Jordan play in '91, '92, '93, '96, '97, and '98 knows that no one has ever been better. If Lebron wins the title this year and puts together a similar stretch run, then we'll have ourselves a debate. Right now, it's not.

Sorry, but it is.

I saw Jordan, I saw Oscar, I saw Wilt and Russell. I saw Elgin and Jerry. I saw Bird and Magic.

LeBron is the best of them all IMO. Granted his teams' accomplishments have not yet reached the level of the other guys, but that's academic, to me.

Jim Brown is the best running back I ever saw, even though his stats pale in comparison to Barry Sanders. No matter; Brown was the king. Just as LBJ is.

(By the way, I love Michael Jordan. He was phenomenal, and a joy to watch.)

Pachulia is a moron. Not only was the foul on him a good call, with Horford playing on a bad ankle he cannot get ejected because they need his minutes to have any shot.

What a dumbass.

Word. And Joe Jackson and Josh Smith failed to pick up the slack, taking ill-considered jump shots when they should have penetrated.

Atlanta is a talented team, but they lack discipline and composure. Two attributes that LeBron has in spades; it rubs off on the rest of the Cavaliers.

Well, like I said at the beginning of the thread, I was expecting a sweep. I said ATL may pull one out in Atlanta, and after nearly surrendering the second big lead, I thought it might happen. Unfortunately for ATL, they're not a very well coached team, are immature and cannot deal with pressure. The Cavs, on the other hand, are extremely well coached, poised and hungry. I expect a tightly contested game for about 2 1/2-3 quarters Monday followed by a 12-15 Cavs win. Eastern Conference Finals...here we come. These guys are just clicking right now.

Certainly we're on the same side here, but, I anticipate a rout.

There's blood in the water.
