Orlando went 2-0 against San Antonio (when they were completely healthy), 2-0 against the Lakers, 2-1 against the Cavs (and the game the Cavs won was a nail biter at home), and 2-2 against the Celtics this season. They are a really good team, even without Jameer Nelson. People need to stop underrating them and understand the significant matchup problems the Magic present for the Cavs. There is a reason they've had the Cavs number in recent years.

This one is on Mike Brown...matchups killed us tonight and he never adjusted..

Why not go small with Sasha (good defender) against one of Hedu or Lewis and put LBJ on the other and then go with Andy on Howard...

If Z is on the court he has to be used on offense to pull Howard out, and why he isn't setting his feet on his jumpers...

Why did we resort to LBJ going one against 5...it is fine down the stretch, but we started it way too early..He was getting guys open looks early in the game, then he stopped...Started off with 4 assists in the first couple minutes and then only ended with 7 or so...He can get anywhere he wants and get anyone looks...Needs to be under control and find the easiest play...

I think we will be fine in the series...Orlando does present mismatches but if Brown can find a way to defend the magic and slow them some, we will be fine...I am thinking this will stretch to 7 tho now, after losing home court tonight...

but a lot of the time, orlando didn't sent howard out to guard Z, they took Lewis or Hedu or whoever was guarding the 4 under the basket and sent them and left howard with their man. if that's what they are going to do, then Z is not going to be worth much.

but in the end, mike brown going with 2 bigs on orlando's final possession was the blunder of the night.

Not a choke IMO. Orlando is the only elite team LA struggled with this year. I think Cavs win game 2, this was a wake up call to the other players on the Cavs. LBJ needed some help out there in the secound half. If the Cavs lose game 2 I can't wait to see the mass meltdown amongst Cavs fans :tongue2:.

Honestly, this didn't surprise me, what actually surprised me was that the cavs were favored by 8, I was thinking 4 at most. Through the year, the toughest team the Lakers faced was the Magic, and when Nelson went down they just kept on going. I expect the Cavs will win game 2, beyond LBJ the Cavs seemed flat tonight, I doubt that will happen again.
I'm with you, I couldn't believe the spread either. I was hoping Vegas knew something that I didn't.....unfortunately not.

Lebron sits at the right hand of the father...

If we continue to play like this at home, and maintain energy on the road, no team in the NBA would take us in a series.

I hope L.A is watching this right now, its what we call "Defense".
