Good open field tackle by Johnson

This game has a better feel to me. More energy defensively and driving the to the hoop and picking up fouls. I am nervous about this series, but am feeling a little better so far.

I'm tired of listening to Doug Collins and how every shot that doesn't go in was a bad shot. This is the NBA - as a general rule if it's uncontested and your feet are set - it's a good shot. That three that Delonte just missed was not a bad shot to take, he just didn't make it.

It's getting tougher and tougher to not just dismiss out of hand the musings of a man who coached the GOAT for three seasons in his early prime and couldn't win a damn thing.

It's amazing what a difference fouling the [censored] out of Howard makes.

No kidding. I'm a big proponent of the Cavs letting him get whatever he wants and closing out hard on the perimeter shooters - especially at games in Cleveland. Using your frontcourt depth to put him on the line goes hand in hand with that though, and that was one of the places the Cavs failed in Game 1.

The Pavlovic adjustment is working out nicely. He also has the guts to take it to the rack where some of the other guards have been timid or settled for contested jumpers.

I don't know if its guts... Mo, West and Booby (if he was playing) are all undersized guards. Orlando starts a relatively tall lineup (with Hedu and Lewis) - its just a challenge for the guys to go in there. I'd probably stop short of calling either Mo or West timid at any time.

LeBron is 5/7... needs to take some more shots. I absolutely hate lateral basketball, but the Cavs have been doing a decent job of moving the ball laterally in the half court to open up vertical lanes as either post feeds to Z or drives for Lebron.

Sasha has definitely been helpful. So has been hitting Howard. I hate seeing Reddick hit ANYthing. Hate.

The Cavs still need to pick up the D. Better closeouts on the shooters. The have been alot of Orlando drives around closing defenders.
