Cavs-Pistons Second Round Playoff Series

Well, hopefully the Cavs can get away with mugging somebody on a putback just like the Pistons have on the other end down the stretch.

This 4th quarter has looked like a M*ch*g*n State basketball game. :(

i didn't think the officiating was that bad. it looked like murray was held on the block when sheed missed that baseline jumper that rip rebounded.

however, flip played a piss-poor game overall and needed to corral that rebound with 2 hands instead of trying to dribble as soon as he came down.

Z also played soft down low and let wallace tip the missed 3 out. if Z puts a body on him, it's over the back and 2 shots.

The problem is that you have guys like this officiating NBA play off games:

He looks like a freaking dinosaur, how old is he 80?

Flip Murray shouldve been wearing a Pistons jersey with how much he killed us tonight. Z was his normal soft self, hes 7'3" 260 lbs and he cant back down Rasheed Wallace on a hurt ankle. Lebron didnt shoot the ball well and had a lot of crucial turnovers.

Throw that in with the fact that officials cant even see the basketball hit the shot clock, and you cant win a game.

They get paid millions of dollars just to rebound the freaking basketball.

Honestly now, how are you going to try and blame that on the refs? They just couldn't get an offensive rebound for the life of them and Lebron didn't calla time out with 10 seconds left.

The worst no call was right near the end when Billups, hit a deep jumper from the key with 1 second left on the shot clock, he was hacked hard. That would have been a crucial free-throw. I remember seeing Ben Wllace getting screwed on a couple of calls also. Did the Cavs get a 'home-court' called game? No, they got a pretty fair game called by my books, maybe you just get upset if they don't get TONS of calls at home... but I know you'll be upset when another team gets those calls at home and it will be because of shitty refs.

The Cavs lost the game with a last minute falling-apart. They still have a good chance in game 7. Go Cavs.

It pisses me off when I see Billups dribble into a defender then fall backwards and throw up a shot and get a call. The first 3 quarters were officiated fine, but the last quarter was horrible, even Michael Reghi said it.

It also wasnt great that the Cavs offense consisted in the second half of 4 players watching Lebron dribble until there is almost no time left on the shotclock and then Lebron tries to go one on one... we need much better execution up in Detroit if we want to advance.

I dont get why we didnt spread the floor more.

When your star player is getting double and even triple teamed, you have to spread the floor. I dont get why Mike Brown doesnt understand this.

Two hands, Flip. God dammit.

This was the most fairly called game of the last three. Wallace came back in a big way, Z and Sideshow Bob couldn't stop him in the post. Billups was making stuff he shouldn't have as well. Bron was amazing from the charity stripe tonight, which saved us on the offensive side.

Unfortunately, they forgot how to rebound. It was one of those games where you can pinpoint where the tide turned, a lot like Huston's miss in the Texas game for OSU.

With my luck, my Witness shirt will be delivered Monday, after the Cavs lose game 7. Here's hoping we take another one from scUM.
