Interested in how this guy got an offer [and an impressive list to boot]. His numbers dont seem to make up for the lack in size. I'm assuming those numbers aren't current [as in '06]?

If by "numbers" you mean his measurables, if you click on the link to his Rivals profile, you will see his measurements were taken at the 2006 Nike camp at Miami on 4/9/06. If by "numbers" you mean his 2005 stats, those can be misleading...I would imagine that given the fact he was 2nd team All-State, his stats might have suffered because teams probably just weren't throwing his way. From what I can see he is a solid tackler for a smaller corner...

I appreaciate it.

By "numbers" I meant his weight and 40 time. I'm sure he's deserving but I was hoping someone could elaborate a bit if they'd seen some video, that's all.

Again, thanks.

no problem...I've only seen the Rivals profile film...hopefully someone who knows this kid a little better can elaborate. if the offer is valid, there must be something that seperates a kid like this and a kid like Mabin.

I am also kinda skeptical...with his SAT, GPA, the low bench press his lack of height and weight...Im not criticizing JT and staff but I find this particular offer very iffy...but thats why they get paid the big bucks not me

I really like this offer. This kid can play, I don't care about his size. He makes me think that he is bigger in the video by the way he plays. He is also still a junior and has time to grow. I also love the way he plays the ball in the air. He has great hips and can really turn on a dime.

He is a stud. He will camp at Texas and the Horns have told him that he either commits that weekend or the offer is off the table. His brother is a pretty good CB at Georgia Tech. I heard he loves Florida though.

Don't sleep on Alabama here either...they were the first to offer and he seems to really have an interest in the Tide. I would be surprised to see him anywhere other than UF or Alabama, but time will tell. Haynes is certainly getting some of these young DBs attention down there in Florida.
