I'll Play.

Who I'd like by likelyness of ending up in the class.

Pittman
Dodson
Dunn
Diamond
Spence
Schutt - If we wiff here insert Iduoze
Marcus - I want him over Perkins, but I think we need one linebacker who can come in and push for PT.
Jones - I think we could get Jones and Diggs, but most likely just one and if we wiff there maybe Caleb

Any word on Davidson? I don't remember seeing his updates since 11/28. I know he injured his leg and is out for a while, but given his legacy, I would think he is a viable option.

He seems destined to be a buckeye captain. He has the talent to be on a top DI team. It would be a shame if he doesn't get the chance to be a buckeye.

Nonsense. Nick was offered back in July which means he had more than enough opportunity to "be a buckeye" if that's what he wanted. If he doesn't end up a Buckeye, then that's entirely on Nick. He certainly had his chance.

I've been through the recruiting process, and you're as wrong as you can be. So much more goes into recruiting. Kids who rush decisions to save spots usually don't stick. Take your time, do your due diligence and the right school will be there for you in the end. Football may not even be Nick's main focus, we don't know what could factor into his decision. Let him take his sweet time.

I'm not always the smartest guy in the room, but one thing I know about the folks on this board better than they know themselves.

At the end of the day none of us really care how much an OSU recruit wants to be a "Buckeye" versus whatever else attracted them to the program. Show up in pads and kick some butt and we will speak of you in hushed tones.

When your family memebers are former captains for the Buckeyes how hard can the decision be? Its not like his dad acnnot pick up a phone and call the program and find anything out they want...Its not like noone in his family had ever been to OSU or knew nothing about it.

Not every kid wants to follow in the footsteps of his dad or grandpa. Sometimes a kid want to do his own thing and look at what's the best situation for him, not what was best for his relatives. You can't blame the kid for looking at other schools when some of the best schools in the country are knocking at his door begging for his services. Even as a die-hard OSU fan it would be hard not to entertain some other offers

I enjoying seeing the excitement among my fellow BP'ers over the recruiting..I Will get more excited with their development and growth in the program. I remember so many names over the years that never pan out due to a variety of issues. One of the first I remember on here was to be a Peyton Manning and he never made all Big 10 or tothe NFL.

You can entertain whatever you want but IMO this train is leaving and will never look back. IMO Kazan learned this the hard way. Meyer is not messing around.

Urban Meyer Recruiting: By The Numbers

Breaking down where Urban Meyer has looked for recruits, what type he's tried to sign and where they have tended to play prior to Meyer's hiring at Ohio State.
A variety of numbers capturing Meyer's star power, regions & percentages in recruiting.

I knew Meyer tried to recruit some Ohioans, but I didn't realize that number was nearly 2 dozen. And he failed to get any of them. Oh noes! The fence is down...
