I'm satisfied with 2 other WRs with Marshall

I actually wasn't going to list Allen on my post, but really like his game & would love to see him in this class. Give me Marshall, Quick & Gibson and I'd be thrilled.

Ok, my question is: whatever happened to caleb day? It seemed like he was a heavy osu lean a little bit ago, and he is a pretty elite athlete. And now, imo, it seems like we've either given up on or he isn't showing anymore interest. What happened all of the sudden, I thought he could make as good a S prospect as Thomas

Have heard grades and also I'm pretty sure he received his offer from the previous staff.

Might have to excel at camp to have any chance at all of receiving an OFFER imo.

Still way too early to tell but this class wouldn't shock me:

QB: Barrett (add Trubisky if they like what they see at camp)
RB: Elliott (add Green if the staff pushes hard, however I don't see a need)
WR: Gibson, Quick (add one of Allen or Lemay)
TE: Baugh, Heuerman
OL: Lisle, Lazzard, Pocic
DE: Bosa, Neal
DT: Sprinkle, Price, Hurst
LB: Anzalone, Kimbrough
CB: Burrows, Woodard
S: Thompson, Bell
AT: Marshall

That's 21 without adding any of the guys in parentheses. 22 if they add another WR.

Would love this class. One question: You don't see them taking Love?

Also that's 20 if you count Jalin Marshall. :wink2:

He is one of my wildcards.

Others include:

Aaron Bailey
Mitch Trubisky
Derrick Green
Corey Clement
David Williams
Taivon Jacobs
Marquez North
Derwin Gray
Khaliel Rodgers
Dorian Johnson
Donovan Munger
Darius Latham
Michael Hill
Lewis Neal
Elijah Daniel
Jordan Sherit
Tashawn Bower
Chris Worley
Mackenzie Alexander
Jalen Ramsey
Cornelius Elder

Any one of these kid's likelihood would depend on how hard the staff pursues. And without knowing that, it is difficult to put them in this class.

Love and Worley would probably be my first ones in if I missed on anyone.

And yes, I forgot Jalin. Added him to my original post.

Keep in mind there is at least one player out there we don't even have a thread on yet that will probably end up in this class...

Surprised we aren't looking to take more on the o-line. Just from a pure math standpoint, it doesn't make much sense to be taking more guys on the d-line than the o-line every year - even though I know we rotate more on defense. But don't you think depth is still a serious concern on the offensive line?

Also, it's tough to gauge who the staff will take at certain positions. Unless they plan on moving Blake Thomas to the offensive line, I'm not sure why we'd be taking two TEs this year even with the new offensive philosophy.
