Could be wrong, but I doubt that's what he is saying. I think he is saying that if there is a genuine change in perspective, we would start recruiting him again.

It goes both ways...if he gets his act together and the staff approves, I would consider him in. If not, we won't recruit him.

Not sure where you get that. Price is actually rated one spot ahead of Hill at DT on Scout (#13 vs #14). We have 2 DTs and 2 DEs this class, a good balance which meets our needs. There are still plenty of other OL prospects from which we can pick...

Price will play OG...move may not happen initially but he knows it's coming and is fine with it because it is in the best interest of the team.

Staff saw him in person, so I will take their judgment on whether he stays at LB or not (I didn't see him as an offer at DE with our numbers). Interesting that we may not take a true LB type in this class.

Imo, Price's skill-set very well may be better suited at guard. I'm not crazy about his overall agility last I saw him on film and we have a gap plugger in Hill...however, he gets great leverage and is stronger than an ox. Good combo for a guard.

Interesting that initial reports on Price were the "next John Simon" and now the seem to be "next Boren Brother". Not that one is better than the other. It seems the athleticism isn't as high as it needs to be for DL. I am thrilled he is willing to do whatever is asked of him and thrilled that he will be a buckeye.

They may believe that we have enough true LB's but need an upgrade in outside speed.

As RB7 said, on film it just looks that way. Not a dig on price at all.
