CBSSportsline countdown clock to tOSU-TSUN

I'm guessing that that detects where you are absed on your IP address, I've noticed a lot of CBS Sportsline stuff doing that

I'm in Dallas and the countdown is also for the UM-OSU game.

Ditto here in Tallahassee.

ABC is going to offer tOSU unprecedented gobs of cash in an attempt to move the game to primetime. In the afternoon this game will get very good ratings nationwide. In primetime it would do a Superbowl type number. It would be plain stupid (and financially irresponsible) for ABC to not try very hard to move kick-off to 8pm EST.

Whether or not Buckeye fans want that is another matter entirely that is of little consequence to the network. We'll watch if the game is at 3 AM; as several of our overseas fans on this board can testify.

Wow, I for one would think it would be great to be played at night. I've heard about reporters saying that they had to use ear plugs durring the UT game last year because it was so loud. What does everyone else think about this? We have a reputation as not playing well at night, but we've proved that wrong twice this year, on the road. I think it would be cool to see this game at night.

The traditions already fucked by moving it to 3:30. Might as well go all the way and move it to a night game and get the max out of homefield advantage.

Why doesnt OSU have more night games? I realize the Shoe doesnt have lights, but money isnt a problem for a program that has the financial support OSU has.

I'm starting to think, that for this ONE time if tOSU and TSUN are both undefeated, #1 vs #2, then they should make an exception and play at night. That would be amazing!

If they move the game to 8pm, the difference in ad revenue for just the very first commercial will do far more than just pay for the lights. After that it's all gravy, and lots of it.

Even if they come in #1 and #3 as they are right now in the BCS, the winner plays for the national title. Few games in college football history have had that importance in the final game of the season. On top of that, its one of the biggest rivalries in sports. Not a bad season for my 1st year as a Buckeye .
