I would recommend Hyman's Seafood

Time for a true story!

I worked at Cap City in Grandview for a while (back when there was only that and Camerons) and we had a hostess there named Tara Hyman. Tara rhymed with Sarah.

Her parents must have thought that was funny. . .

(at the same time a guy worked there named Peter Cram.)

Two new favorites...

RP's on Shem Creek...any of the Shem Creek restaurants are excellent.

Bowen Island...unreal seafood.

I'm so jealous of folks in coastal states where you can get good seafood. It's sad when just about the best seafood you can find in your area is Red Lobster. :(

So long as this thread is current, I just want to add that I love Charleston (or the Chuck, as my friends and I like to call it). Chuck is one of the best cities I've been to anywhere, excluding none. It's a destination town so the hotels, restaurants, bars, etc. are very nice in general. Tons of fun, and there are random packs of young women there - the ratio is completely skewed... just a good time overall. Oh yeah, and there are great beaches too.

Oh. Midwest Seafood in Springboro (south of Dayton) has very good, fresh seafood. That's a little bit of a drive though. :tongue2:

Yeah, just a little. There is a place near Kent called Twin Lakes Tavern that has very good seafood, and have it brought in fresh. But they only serve food on the weekends I believe and it's pricey. Other than that, I am stuck with either Red Lobster (which isn't terrible) and Long John Silvers. :slappy: I can't believe people actually get food from there. :sick1:
