if so, they better build up a cushion by playing the Royals....because I don't see them winning very many games in Minny. they never play well there.

Everyone is sleeping on this team, but they are going to have the AL batting champ (Mauer) and probably AL MVP (Mourneau).
They are also one of the youngest in baseball. The pitching is up and down, but they had 5 pitchers who won at least 10 games.
Call me a homer, but I think its clear Ron Gardenhire is one of the top 3 managers in baseball. He has been doing this (scrapping out championships with small payroll and small ball) for the past 6-7 seasons.
Future is bright.
