Cincinnati Bearcats (Juggalos official thread of Faygo)

So what I got out of that article; was that while Ohio state uses an old style of offense, Cinci is better because the have a new, cooler style of offense, and a general positive vibe about their program.

Come the hell on. You have got to be kidding me. UC hasn't beaten OSU in 2 centuries! Yet they are proclaimed the better program because they are new to the scene and don't lose big games? UC hasn't played in big games.

I use to like UC, and I like Brian Kelly. I still would consider going to school at UC, but this arrogance is based on no actual big win by Cincinnatti, but a loss by an in-state team, some may view as their rival. However, you have to beat a team at least once in 100 years to be called a rival. And UC hasn't done that at all, but I can't wait to play them in a few years and put them in their place.

Brian Kelly has yet to beat top-15 team in his tenure at Cincy, and obviously never achieved that feat at CMU. In fact, Kelly is winless against ranked non-conference opponents at both schools. I know what you're thinking - it's Cincy and CMU - but there just isn't a track record of his teams performing consistently better than anyone else when matched up against superior talent.

It's hard to choose just one thing from that abomination that stands out but I'm going with this:

3. What coach is the best bet to walk into your living room and knock the socks off you and your parents...Kelly or Tressel?
:slappy:

Good pic of him too.

Lance Mcallister sucks and has always sucked.

Even though the local affiliate went to Hartman and Myers (which in itself is like listening to nails on a chalkboard), at least they brought something to the table and actually KNEW what they were talking about/referencing. That's when the joy returned to Dayton Radio. Listening to McAllister after ( :sick1: ) Jim Rome was horrific.

Lance McAllister is like Peter King, except without the following and contacts. He constantly contradicts himself, takes the path of least resistance and is ALWAYS on the Cincy bandwagon.

Anybody who thinks "Vision Quest" is one of the all time great sports movies is a complete fuck tard. The day he fellated Matthew Modine for his role in that flick for 3 straight hours was the day I stopped listening.

I turned on the radio the other day and Lance was reading his little article. I really hate listening to his show, it's total garbage. Hmm would I rather play for the OSU offense with weekly national exposure or against UC's frighteningly difficult Big East slate. Kelly's kid goes to the school that my mom works at and didn't even acknowledge the teacher on parent day, so that doesn't bode well for knocking my socks off. And as for the more exciting offense, I wouldn't care what it looked like as long as my team was winning.

As an alum of both OSU and UC, you'd think I'd be cheering for both. Articles like this and trash talk from the UC football team (we're the big brother now) has made me totally indifferent to any success the team has.
