Cincinnati Bengals (Just Burrow In)

Bengals still plan on signing Spain who was a 3 or 4 year starter for Buffalo. I think he should be some nice help. I think BJ Finney will mostly be utilized as a backup. But that should be solid enough depth at guard. Still would be ecstatic to draft a Tackle in the first round in 2021, and a Guard in the second round. Would be amazing if Wyatt Davis somehow fell to the second round, albeit extremely unlikely.

Penei Sewell from Oregon would be the most ideal with the first pick, but Alex Leatherwood from Alabama would probably be the backup option.

Spain was actually a multi-year starter for Tennessee, and only came to Buffalo in 2019, fyi. Not sure what happened with him this season, since he was just extended over the offseason and I thought he was a solid piece on the OL.

The Browns traded the Bills a pack of smokes last year for the guy that has been their highest graded OL this season. Bills might not be the best judge of OL talent or their OL is so deep they don't have room for a guy like Wyatt Teller.

Quentin Spain and Hakeem Adeniji (and the rest of the OL) played extremely well today. They created some of the best running lanes I’ve seen all season. Will be interesting to see how much better the offense will be with Mixon back and Bernard continuing to produce off the bench.

The OL looked light and day better, happy to see them keep Joey's jersey clean. But keep in mind Tennessee has one of the worst defenses in the league, especially on pass rush. That said, the OL looked so much better this week. Would be nice to see continued improvement if it leads to momentum into next year. Just stating the obvious, but damn Burrow is so good. For the first time in a long time, I'm excited to watch this team with Joey at the helm. No doubt he's the real deal.

I know we desperately need OL in the Draft but after having watched a decent amount of Florida Gator games this year, Kyle Pitts is one of the best tight ends I have ever watched at the college level and he would be awfully tempting if we somehow address the OL in free agency. Dude would be a game changer for Burrow and we desperately need a TE like him. If we win enough games, we might be in the 10-15th pick range, which might put us out of contention for Sewell or Leatherwood unless we trade up. And frankly, I'd prefer to seek known commodities in free agency at OL, as the bust rate in the Draft at that position is high (see Ogbhuei, Fisher, Price, etc.).

Bengals claim former first-round pick Takk McKinley off waivers after pass rusher was waived by Falcons

It didn't take long for pass rusher Takk McKinley to find a new home as the Cincinnati Bengals announced on Wednesday that they have claimed the former first-round pick, adding him along their front seven. The Atlanta Falcons officially parted ways with McKinley on Monday, waiving the 25-year-old after a falling out between the two sides.

McKinley, who was selected by the club in the first round of the 2017 draft out of UCLA, was looking to get out of Atlanta dating as far back as last season. It appeared he was going to be dealt around the trade deadline this year, but it never came to pass. At that point, McKinley took to social media claiming that the Falcons had turned down viable offers for him.

"These Falcons turned down a second-round draft pick when I requested to get traded last year," McKinley wrote on Twitter at the time. "The same Falcons turned down a fifth- and a sixth-round draft pick from multiple teams when I requested to get traded this year. I only have 17.5 career sacks."

PFF 2020 Midseason NFL All-Rookie Team

QB JOE BURROW, CINCINNATI BENGALS

Justin Herbert has put the heat on of late, but Burrow's body of work still takes the cake. The No. 1 pick of the 2020 NFL Draft has really only had one dud of a game, and that was against the blitz-heavy Baltimore Ravens. Even with that, he still ranks 13th in passing grade among all starters in the NFL and has done it behind the 26th-ranked pass protection in the league. That’s no small feat.

WR TEE HIGGINS, CINCINNATI BENGALS
This spot was another hotly contested one, but Higgins' more reliable hands give him the nod. He’s dropped only one pass on the season compared to five for both CeeDee Lamb and Jerry Jeudy. After a slow start, Higgins has been Joe Burrow’s go-to guy, with four or more catches in each of the Bengals' last six games. Cincinnati can’t ask for much more from its first two picks.

Fast forward 10 years and those 2 could easily be on this list:

Early returns on our first two picks. Wilson and AGD at LB look to have some promise as well. Looking like we drafted well, can't ask for much more from those guys so far.

Hoping we can pull a miracle and ruin the Steelers perfect season. I would prefer not win many more games and get a higher pick, but I hate the Steelers and always want to beat them.
