heres some stuff i have been reading/seeing...

it sounds as if RGIII will probably not get drafted by the browns...he will not fit Shumur's offense...my opinion is how many times has there been a draft pick that the browns will pass on lately because he doesnt fit in the 3-4, 4-3, West Coast Offense, ETC.? It seems like it happens every 2-3 years...so if im holmgren and i believe RGIII is the real deal then i would tell heckert to take a strong look at him...because it is a higher probability that RGIII will be here longer then Shumur will...Tony Grossi is in love with RGIII btw so if you read anything from him just know that...Bruce Drennan has been bringing up Flynn, Kolb and also Ryan Tannehill from Texas A&M...i dont know too much about Tannehill but he is 6-4 and had former packers coach Mike Sherman as a coach for a few years...obviously you can make the holmgren/sherman connection...at this point i think if we stick the course of not drafting a QB in the 1st 2 picks then i think Blackmon has to be the man we take...u do not take Richardson at 4...you trade down...if Blackmon is not there and u need a playmaker we should still trade down...3 1st round picks in this years draft is better then 2...its still way to early to predict anything obviously and the combine is still 2 months away, but i was happy to see RGIII was coming out this year because this can only help the browns in the draft

I've said this over and over but the play here is to get the extra picks. That is what is going to help this franchise in the long run. They hold the cards....the Rams and Vikings aren't picking a QB and there are teams that are going to want RG3 especially the Redskins. If they can get two#1's again you take that deal. If not, and Blackmon is still there then that's probably the guy even though there are woe concerns there.

If Grossi wants RG3 and we don't draft him he will be writing about it until 2020. He still won't shut the hell up about Rey Maualuga and he hasn't done [Mark May] for the Bengals. What a douche.

Agree with everything except the woe concerns. (not sure what you mean there)

I will admit that I have listened to Drennan periodically but have no idea why because he does not know anymore about sports than you or I. I will grant the fact that he knows baseball history but that's about as far as it goes.

On the other hand, I know that many of the guys on this board have no respect for Grossi but he does have contacts around the NFL and is a very close friend of Sam Rutigliano who is very well respected around the NFL.

I think the only reason that Tannehill's name is even being mentioned is because Sherman's name is being thrown around as a possible new OC for the Browns.

If they were to draft Tannehill, I will never watch another clowns game. Seriously.

They took Spergon Wynn when Tom Brady was on the board and you're still here. Face it, we're suckers as fans.

I have no faith Jerry Jones is ever going to put another championship team on the field yet every year I'm back on board. :shake:

Tannehill is starting to get 1st round buzz. Spergon Wynn was a 6th rounder (and was named Spergon). If they spend a 1st round pick on that guy, I'm done. It won't be hard, I hardly pay attention now other than to laugh at their ineptitude. The most interest I have in this joke of a franchise is leading up to the draft in the hopes they don't go full retard. Drafting Tannehill would constitute full retard.

Spergon Wynn....damn....that's one of those repressed memories you wish you never remembered again. I have confidence in Heckert but if they draft Tannehill I am done with this.

Wow...Wynn actually started a game for us...I am in denial about how bad we really suck.

Because, you know, EVERYONE knew Tom Brady was going to be a star in the NFL :slappy:

Actually I kind of hope they go full retard, just so I can cut ties without any remorse at all.

Of course that would be the end of me paying attention to the NFL except for vgambling purposes....oh well...
