Cleveland Browns (2016 thread of unrelenting dumpster conflagration)

I'd take a QB in this order

Paxton Lynch
Cardale Jones
Dak Prescott
Kevin Hogan
Brandon Allen
Jacoby Brissett
Brandon Doughty
Nate Sudfeld
Cody Kessler
Jeff Driskel
Jake Coker
Vernon Adams Jr.
Christian Hackenberg
Connor Cook

yes Cook has bust written all over him.. but someone will take him in the first or 2nd.. I just hope its not the Browns.

I agree, not necessarily about the order of your list because I don't know enough about some of those guys, but I have Connor Cook waaaaaay down my list. His accuracy is a huge concern and in the NFL, that's a death sentence. You have to be accurate or you'll get absolutely nowhere. Defensive backs are too good.

My selection and the only one..

Yes. I am a Homer..

I agree. I think CJ has as much upside as anyone in the draft and can be had for a mid to low pick. Give him a couple years behind RG3/McCown while they work on building the rest of the team over the next 3 drafts. If this front office doesn't suck like the last eleventy billing guys that we've had making picks they might not suck in a few years. I think they could do worse than going with the Best Buckeye Available draft formula this year.

And he's a colossal dick with no locker room presence. Must avoid at all costs. So, that means the Cook Browns jerseys will go on sale tomorrow when they take him at #8

They should trade all of their picks every year for future picks until at some point, 15 years in the future, the result is them having every pick in the first round. It's not as if they would be any good by drafting every year until then.
If the Browns had 32 first round picks, they'd still manage to take 31 busts.
