The lack of commitment to the running game and the unwillingness to use the TE's in to help our tackle situation and setting up playaction is all on the coaches. Baker isn't Brady and for whatever fucking reason, Kitchens seems convinced he is.

Baker's game is... not ideal. He's best used with the playaction game at this point in his career. The ball fake is much improved from last season, and the play fake seems to speed up his mental clock where other times he hangs onto the ball too long. He is still the same kid from the 2016 Oklahoma season when you straight drop him. His field vision is sketchy unless improvising and he is reverting back to forcing passes he simply doesn't have too.

Farve is being kind at this stage in his career. But if Baker is the next Farve, I'll flat out tell you I don't want it. Brett was fun as hell to watch, but no player stood in the way of Farve's success more than he did to himself.
