Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

This team lacks a true vertical threat that ODB helped provide. The amount of press you saw last night was only aided by the fact the Ravens DB's started dropping. But early on? Bracketing Landry and getting hands on DOJ & Higgy was working.

The Browns simply lack a burner to scare DB's and it will cost them eventually.

And Odell put up 1400 yards his rookie year with a mouth breather at QB. The myth that he makes teams "worse" is just that.

But this defense needs LB's and DB's in the worst way. The good news about the shortened B1G season is that a one Shaun Wade may be available where the Browns are picking.

I just saw that posted elsewhere. My question is if he can throw it 2 yards out of the back of the endzone from the 38 why not try that on the last play of the game from the 25? I suck at math, but wouldn't that put the ball landing just short of the goal line? Better chance of something good happening that that horseshit lateral Chinese fire drill they tried.

I don’t recall there being any receiver in the end zone to even attempt to catch this bomb...

I don't know why you throw a hail mary 2 yards out of the endzone if you want to give your guys a chance to catch it, but he probably just uncorked it as hard as he could. Nobody was rushing on either play so he could have held the ball as long as he needed to so guys like Njoku and Bryant could make it to the endzone.

If the play starts on the 25 he's letting it go from inside the 20. Then there's needing enough time for receivers to get 80 yards downfield.

The only way that works is if there is no pass rush at all.
