That is one of the problems in hiring a coach whose team is in the playoffs. They cannot do crap until their team is out of the playoffs. Saleh probably would have not been able to put a "staff" together for 3 weeks. Quite a few good assistants are going to get hired in the next 3 weeks..

You know, I agree with this. Yes, McD has more NFL experience, but his last stint as an HC was a disaster. If he demanded his-way-or-the-highway, then "Cya"

But the things Stefanaki (or whatever) had to agree to? Lol. Yeah, I need the fucking guy who lives in San Diego going over my game plan. Fuck. You. I would have said "no" too.

One thing that's true: Haslam is a stupid, hillbilly, pinched-face asshole who has all the skills of a rock.

Yes Moneyball isn't in the office, but I don't think the game plan is going to him to personally review. More likely it's going to his analytics team in Berea to plug in and pull tendencies for the coaches. I'm not going to knock it till I see it on the field.

IOW - it won't happen. Competence was never a criteria for owning a team. Hell, the owners whose team is on the schedule get a free win! Why screw with that?
