Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Same. Had one person say LeBron's move was the worse of the two, when it comes to image. I couldn't help but laugh. Miami was 47-35 the year before LeBron joined them..

I take jabs whenever I can at Golden State. Especially when it comes to people claiming last year's team was the best in NBA history. I say that's not even close. The Bulls still have that crown, and it's going to be a long while until another team threatens their record and accomplishments.

The same person that texted me immediately when durant announced he was going to GS has bickered with me the entire day on this subject of lebron(somehow no matter what happens in the NBA it comes down to Lebron). This afternoon it was "I can't believe he did that to OKC" up until damn near 11pm tonight and by then it was " I don't blame him I would have done the same thing" This coming from someone who trashes LBJ every chance he gets, and when the cavs finally win a title within 3 minutes of the game being over he was talking about "next year will be different"..literally that's all he said about it..There wasn't a single compliment on how it was amazing that the cavs came back and won..or they haven't won a title in a million years..it was already shit talking about next year..Let me know when your GOAT or favorite player takes a cleveland team to a title in anything...

When it comes to Lebron some people just need to admit no matter what he does..how he does it..where he does it at..You are going to bitch and downplay his accomplishments. A huge portion of NBA fans decided a long time ago they were going to hate james his entire career no matter what he does and they are going to stick to that until he retires. Hey,I get it you don't like him and that's your opinion that your absolutely entitled to..but don't act like that's an unbiased opinion because it's not. It's so hard for the masses to just say "look my opinion is extremely biased, therefore i'll say obscene shit and expect everyone to agree".

I despise watching the warriors.I'll be the first to admit when their ball movement and shot making is on there's nothing anyone can do but lose. I do appreciate great play fwiw. I just can't stand the "get every break by the refs" "flopping on the ground like fish",and crybaby crap when they lose. It gets to a point with GS that if they don't get every call or gets fouls called against them they seriously bitch about it like it's being realistic, and it's not.

I'll be the first to admit that I was hugely against how LeBron handled his departure. Eventually, I got over it (right around the time they lost the Finals to Dallas). I didn't burn his jersey, or anything extreme, just a little shit talk and some sour grapes. That being said, there's no way you can compare the two leaving their original team. One left his team after losing 3 consecutive games (despite being up 3-1) to the team he would eventually join, who also is the winningest team in NBA history (reg season). The other, well, you know how that played out.

He will want somewhere over 20m, which we don't have, and last year he made 7 3 pointers in the entire season. Seven! He's great in the paint and with short jumpers, but i don't think he's the answer for this team. If he was 10m, we could take him as a backup at the 1 with delly gone. Maybe they want shump down in Miami?
I think we still have a $10M trade exemption ....

Though there have been rumors that Wade is talking to the Cleveland Cavaliers, there is no traction between the parties, sources said. The Cavs currently have no cap space and could only offer their $3.4 million mid-level exception.

Short of salary cap magicinary attached to a blockbuster trade; I don't see how he can come here. Wade is not worth $25M ($15M) to me. Especially with how much movement would have to be made to get him here.

Wade would have to take a huge pay cut to play in Cleveland. LeBron did it for him, though, and he would make far more in endorsement money on a relevant Cavs team than with the Heat.

Eh. People acted like getting Kevin Love was going to be automatic 80 win seasons.

Durant, Curry, and Thompson on the same team is terrifying. Those are three of the top 10 shooters in the league, easily. Maybe three of the top five. There are no guarantees (I thought the Lakers superteam would destroy people a few years ago), but the spacing and talent are going to be difficult to handle. Even if Kyrie outplays Curry and LeBron outplays Durant, that still leaves Green and Thompson to do some damage. Not to mention whatever old guys GS signs at an extreme discount (they already have Zaza and David West).

I hate to quote Mike Tyson, because I hate Mike, but ... everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

According to this year's playoffs and Finals, GS has a glass jaw and Kevin has a small heart. People keep wondering what the Cavs are going to do, but for some odd reason seem to be overlooking what the Spurs are going to do.

LaMarcus has gotten his first year out of the way. Pau Gasol is always a good bet. And, Popovich is a better coach than Kerr and Lue! He's mad at Kevin for beating him last year and he was consistently scoffing at the Warriors throughout last season, so putting them all on the same team just makes his work easier.

He's gunning for the Warriors and if he can't beat them, he will lay out the new blueprint on how to do it. He dislikes them just that much, in my opinion.

You would have to think the whole league and the NBA office want this experiment to fail. It is bad for the league for 1 team to have this much talent. I would hate to see the Warriors tax bill in a few years.
