Another win tonight, now only 1 game out of the 8th spot. Not sure how much it'll help (the lottery cause) but Jamison and Sessions have to go.

if they stay and verajao comes back i think we will get the #8 seed...Linsanity is over and the knicks are in a tailspin...so ya at least sessions has to go

i like it...could be a low 20's pick if the lakers blow it in the playoffs...walton and jamisons contracts will both be expiring, but can still be tradeable i believe

edit: found out jamisons will not be tradeable and we also got Jason Kapono via this trade

The Cavs acquired Jason Kapono as part of the Ramon Sessions trade.

Kapono has appeared in just 51 games over the last two seasons due to ineffectiveness. He's unlikely to crack Cleveland's rotation on the wing.

how LA performs in the playoffs is of no bearing to where their draft pick will be.

the hidden gem in this trade is the unprotected pick swap in 2013.

i can't believe how many people are overlooking that swap provision, especially because it's unprotected.

if the lakers totally implode next year, the cavs get that pick, no matter where it's at. with bynum's knees held together by duct tape, an old roster, and lots of dissent between management and coaches and so on, that's got to be a scary scenario for the lakers.
