Cleveland Cavs (2016 NBA Champions)

Allen has a broken finger and is out indefinitely. Playoffs start in 5 weeks so I would guess the best case scenario is he is back then assuming they hold onto a playoff spot. Fingers aren't very important to his game so me might be able to tape a couple fingers together and come back sooner than the standard 6-8 weeks. IIRC LeVert should be back soon, but I don't watch enough to know how they handle Allen being out. Do they go smaller with Okoro and LeVert in the starting lineup or do they stay big and play Love and Wade more? Without LeVert and Rondo the answer seemed to be play Lauri, Love and Wade more. Mobley has been great so far this season, but the pressure is really going to be on now.

They seemed to be a bit disjointed when he wasn't in there... Eddie Davis is OK.. plays with heart... but opponents will do the Hack-a-Shaq on him... foul him constantly because he can't make a foul shot
Mobley had great stats last night... but his scoring stat was misleading... he's hitting a rookie post All Star break shooting wall right now... hopefully he's back to pre by playoffs

Watching the Cavs bench is like watching a HS game... having serious fun... the camaraderie.. rooting for each other... and looks like Kevin Love is their inspiration...
like the announcers said "I don't think that bench sat down the entire second half"
Hooting and hollering for their mates... fun to watch

Mobley is Rookie of the Year
Love is Sixth Man of the year
Allen has to be one of the best trades Cavs have ever pulled off

17 games left and most will be tough games... only a handful of gimmies
5 with Chicago, Miami, Phila

3.5 in front of the Raptors and I'm guessing we have the tiebreaker with them. Hopefully we can play well enough to hold onto the 6 seed. LeVert coming back will help whenever that happens, but defense seems to suffer with Allen out and Levert won't be much help on that end.

Seems Garland is still finding his footing back and the chemistry with Mobley in the middle. The float/oop that was money early in the season is a little rusty without Allen in there. Getting good bench minutes lately though so hopefully come playoff time, this team will have their 10 best ready to play
