When my dad took me there as a kid, he told me everyone should know what it’s like seeing a game while sitting behind a post.

I liked the posts. They were useful for steadying the binoculars needed to see any game action happening 475 feet away. They also provided a tiny bit of shelter from the blasts of arctic wind rolling off the lake in mid-September.

That’s why you take a sleeping bag into the stadium. And gloves so your hand doesn’t get frostbite from holding onto a beer.
