Coronavirus (COVID-19) is too exciting for adults to discuss (CLOSED)

gotta fudge the numbers to justify economic suicide.
The way it was explained by my source.. this is expedient plus another impeccable source - no one wants to do an autopsy (too dangerous).. he's letting the corpses sit for 'days.. weeks.. months in a refrigerated truck.. not sure yet'

Anyone see China's #'s spike after opening the country back up?
We've learned.. it's all about how one/gov wants to keep score

It's a BLOOD disease. It breaks up the hemoglobin bonds and attaches to the hemes, which disrupts the blood's ability to transport oxygen.
Way it was explained to me.. it's respiratory thus inhibits the ability to breath which inhibits blood flow/ability to transport oxygen
and why organs struggle... very low blood flow

So people with the virus, who did not die before getting the virus, are being recorded as having died from the virus.

You get diagnosed and then die in a car accident you’re counted as having died of COVID-19.
You get diagnosed and then die tripping down the stairs in the hospital you’re counted as having died of COVID-19.
You get diagnosed and then your wife has enough of you and puts a cap in your sorry ass... you got it... she is free and clear cuz you’re counted as having died of COVID-19.
What’s so difficult to understand here?

Watched a discussion as to whether Italy's decision to start getting specific causal details... could be part of reason for their decrease

A key element is that Covid is a catalyst... that puts previous conditions into hyperdrive.. Medical personnel struggle with priorities... keep them breathing.. but then other organs (heart, kidneys, liver) struggle... it's an avalanche of factors..

When your in the middle of a battle there's no time to look around and analyse anything other than surviving. We don't even have a single treatment yet!
You're either going to live your life, or you're not. You can spend yours in your castle of toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and surgical masks. I'm going to work (with a lot less traffic!), cycling (with a lot more traffic!), playing basketball and soccer with the kids, etc., etc. The only change in my life is that the kids are "e-learning" and we can't go to sit down restaurants. No one is in distress and we seem to be enjoying having more family time now that it's warm outside.

IIRC the increase/spike was because the government decided to report “asymptotic” cases in addition to “confirmed” cases. I didn’t see that in the article.

My impression was that this was done as a way to somehow justify forcing people (specifically foreigners) into government-run quarantine sites... presumably to shore up confidence among people and businesses that continued measures to reopen the economy are not somehow reckless in the face of the imported cases.

Then when they realized that they couldn’t / didn’t want to handle the mass influx because of the tests that would be required and complaints from people about having to pay to stay at these government-run quarantine facilities (basically hotels), the government then just banned all incoming international passengers with a few exceptions.

It’s interesting to watch how “policy” works here compared to other countries where there seems to be debates ad nauseam... for better or worse.
