Seems likely. The overall take is that the vaccine has significantly improved outcomes for surviving Covid.
The vaccines have significantly improved outcomes yet when someone gets the flu they don't have longterm effects to the tune of 360,000 longhaulers. This is new uncharted waters. This not the seasonal flu. People should just stop with trying to compare a pandemic with the seasonal flu.

Its nothing like the flu. It’s an upper respiratory infection. It’s that simple. Do many pneumonia survivors have long term issues? Most certainly.

PS I've got an hombre nephew near SF who is a 'longhauler'... covid positive spring last year still struggling with it.. and he's a big strappin' dude

Sorry to hear that. Do they have him on steroids to combat the inflammation? I know it worked well for a couple of my cycling mates. Took about a year, but they are back to normal now.
