Coronavirus (COVID-19) is too exciting for adults to discuss (CLOSED)

It will not save everyone. This pneumonia type virus coupled with other health issues will be too much in some cases.
My understanding is that most of the death certificates from this virus are saying “natural” for cause of death, which is why the CDC’s estimates vary so greatly. The first claimed COVID-19 death n IL, for example, was listed as “natural” for the actual cause of death.

Unless someone can prove the Chinese made this stuff, "natural" is technically correct. No?

That’s about a week old now.

No need to pray for me. I buy booze, as a normal course of activity, like stupid motherfuckers buy toilet paper in pandemics. Guy at the store had a tear in his eye when I made my last trip. My liver will give out before I run out of booze.

I am actually staying, reasonably, sober so I can be alert for those magical first few hours of looting season.

Ahhh, to see them come over the property line with that look of wild avarice and hope in their eyes then to smell the cordite and fear....well, to quote an old beer commercial, it just doesn't get any better than that.

They actually think they are 1) going to profit from the exercise and 2) live. It's just the best all around fun you can have in a lawless environment if you ask me.

It's even helping people come together in anticipation of the event. My neighbor and I had a range marking/overlapping fields of fire party the other night. It was great.
All my worthless neighbor did was say to me, "thank god you're my neighbor"

Fucking free riders man.

I just saw another clip... doctor who is on the leading edge of the current testing.. asked how they come up with it so fast..
said.. in a lot of ways this virus is similar to SARS.. when SARS was taking it's toll and after, research found 5 drugs that were relatively successful.. AFTER the fact..
but they still banked the results in case SARS ever came back
so when this hit, they went back to those 5 and did some genetic re-engineering to match up 2002 drugs with modifications to the current Wuhan

'this drug should not be used if patient has cardiomyopathy'

He's an Indian guy who wouldn't know which end of a rifle to point at the looters.

I was sending him down range to mark distances. The "overlapping" is where his property is in my field of fire.

Love all my friends falling for every story that starts with "My friend's brother works in the National Guard" or of course "My sister's friend is a Dr..."

And now old videos of humvees being transported by rail (crazy, I know, trains transporting things?!). People are losing their minds and it's only like Day 4 since a lot of cities went to closing a few non-essential things down. Misinformation and havoc everywhere.

This will be fun.

So, my brother who is a doctor in the National Guard who drives an uparmored humvee stories don’t work for you?

Major misunderstanding out there about chloroquine... the malaria drug

a Dr can script it for ANY use they deem. Does not have to be for indication FDA approved it under. This drug was presented to FDA for malaria some 40 yrs ago. It is heavily scripted for a whole host of other indications within rheumatology realm. Lupus And arthritis especially. in fact they don’t know WHY it works there but it does and that is why it is prescribed so often for non-malaria indications

There’s something going on here, by the way. Friend who is COO for an urgent care network attempted to acquire hydroxychloroquine yesterday after the study started to make the rounds. None available. It’s being stockpiled.

My take is that the gov’t is acquiring for distribution and the presser today when Trump said, “approved by FDA” and Hahn backing off of that to say, “collecting data” is smoke for getting their shit in a pile on the logistics for distribution and ramping production.
