Anybody catch Colin Cowherd's rant about ND and their "strong" schedule? It was great. He completely tore their schedule apart.

I have said this before, but it can be said again. Cowherd is a great radio guy. I rarely find an occasion where i disagree with him, even if he is ripping on one of my teams. He is easily the best sports talkshow guy I have listened to since Kornheiser (he might be better). I don't care that he works for ESPN, I'll listen to him as much as I can.

Care to elaborate on what he was saying? I do like Cowherd, he is by far the best on the radio.
he just went down the schedule and ripped on every patsy they play....and ripped on the people who try to build up the schedule because it has big names but not big football schools (MSU, Purdont, Washington).....and then compared them to a random team from the SEC (Georgia) and then a random team from the ACC (Clemson). Both schedules were tougher.

it was hilarious. it was all brought on by Weis appearing on Regis.

He was killing Penn State as well.

He was using the fact that they had nobody drafted as a measuring stick (which I don't necessarily agree with) against other teams (like USC, Oklahoma, Michigan).

He was basically saying that teams like notre dame and Penn State just don't have any talent. He was all over Penn State saying "Here are the teams that didn't have anyone drafted: Rutgers, Duke, Georgia Tech, Penn State. See, that's where you are Penn State!"

Yesterday he was killing Denver for taking the Former Harding Halfback.

Love the Herd!!!!!!!!!

I didn't hear it, but Cowherd is the man. At first, I wasn't sure about him, but the more I listen to him, the more I tend to agree/like him. His show has overtaken Dan Patrick's show (which hasn't been the same since Dibs left). Like him or hate him, Dibs was pretty entertaining...

Did you catch him yesterday? It was basically the Nugent & Clarett show - he spent most of the time defending the Jets and saying what a great idea picking a kicker in round two was for them, and bashing Denver for picking Clarett. He even had Spielman on to defend Nuge/discuss Clarett and Vrable on for another reason. It was OSU day on ESPN Radio. Odd, but enjoyable.

You can also catch ESPN radio on XM Satellite Radio; that's how I listen to it.

Cowherd is the best. No matter what your opinion of ESPN, their radio programming is off the charts. Mike & Mike, Colin and Patrick.

I wish Colin would've compared ND's schedule to OSU this year. Texas, Iowa, scUM...we've got a heckuva ride in for us and you won't hear me using it as an excuse, you have to beat the best to be the best.
