If his report card came back suggesting he's got a shot, then somebody is lying.

I really don't know if coming back helps his stock bc if this defensive staff is dismantled, chances are he gets even less snaps next year with the experienced guys out-performing him and the young pups passing him up. That isn't going to help his draft chances any.

Yes. He would need to improve or will be passed. Wade and okudah are the 2019 starters.

Ufa practice team still counts as a shot... and a small windfall. Then finish the degree.
He very well may not play next year - passed by. In that light, it makes a lot of sense.

Does the American Alliance league count?

His measurables potential have some scouts drooling. He make a nice bit of change in the league for a few years before finishing that degree and entering the "real world".
Like others have stated, I don't see his PT increasing next year

He probably would be better at safety where he wouldn't be required to cover man on man a lot. He's not a classic cover corner.

True, he and Sheffield should look at switching positions. But if Arnette is getting NFL looks for CB, than who are we to judge

Nice! I know he hasn't been as good as we've all hoped, but having him back cant really be a bad thing, right?

Hoping a new system and new coaches will be a huge benefit here.

He came in as the #653 overall prospect and the #62 CB, so although he has looked not great at times I actually think he has outperformed his ranking in terms of playing time.

Indeed nice. Sheffield is the only one we're waiting on to make a decision right?

It will be interesting to see how Mattison can diagnose and improve him fundamentally. I am willing to bet it will be a positive difference.
