DB Jahsen Wint (Official Thread)

Really rooting for this kid... crazy physical for a guy his size and if he continues to put in the work he will get rewarded. This staff does a great job rewarding kids who put up.
I am as well, but he has an uphill battle to see the field, as he'll need at least a year to learn the S position. He's always been a LB his entire life, and has always been a hard hitting blitzing LB at that. Now he has to learn coverages. I think he can be a special teams stud to start his career, but has a lot of ground to make up with a class of guys like Burns, Fuller and Davis, not to mention an incoming 2017 class with Pryor, Wade, Riep, Williamson, etc who are all true DBs(though some may turn into LBs, and some are either CBs or S). Definitely rooting for this kid to get over the learning curve and compete for some S PT in the future

Sidenote:
I told my buddy who coached him, and he was so excited! Told me how he remembers when Jahsen would sleep on his coach as a middle schooler and at times in HS. Also told me an interesting story about when Jahsen was in 8th grade, he was hitting guys so hard in a game that he dented his ow helmet!
