DE Joey Bosa (Def ROY, 3x Pro Bowl, Los Angeles Chargers)

What's insane is we are going to have troubles determining who our top 4 defensive lineman are.

Bosa, Washington, Bennett, spence, schutt, and marcus are outstanding. Oh by the way carter, hill, lewis, and our endless pursuit of playmaking lineman in recruiting. We are stocked boys and that's never going to change.

Just need to hit the secondary as hard in recruiting and I just don't see a way we don't dominate on defense.

  • When starter Adolphus Washington suffered a groin strain in the second game of this season, Joey Bosa was thrust into the starting lineup for the first road game against California and has been there ever since. Bosa has an impressive football pedigree. His father, John, was a star at Boston College and a first-round NFL draft pick of Miami in 1987, and his uncle, Eric Kumerow, was a standout defensive end at Ohio State and a first-round pick of the Dolphins in 1988.

Question: You move up here from Florida, and there was snow last week in the middle of October. How did you cope?

Answer: Most people from Florida haven’t really been in cold weather before, but I’ve been lucky to have been in some pretty cold weather in my past, so it’s not too bad. It’s going to get pretty bad, though, I’m sure.

Q: When, where or how did you experience the cold in your childhood?

A: We used to go to Colorado almost every year.

Q: Were you there to go skiing?

I still can't believe Bosa beat out Diesel as the starter.
I hope you are being sarcastic and/or pointing out what an uniformed moron Griese is (because he kept saying the same thing throughout the game).

Washington has and continues to be slowed by injuries- not the least of which is a hamstring strain which tend to linger indefinitely until you can rest them for a significant period of time.

It's what slowed Bennett down all last season as well- and we are seeing what a difference being healthy has made for him this year.

I didn't see his injury. Did it look bad? And what was it (ie knee, shoulder, etc.)?

Seemed like a head or neck thing(don't quote me) I think Griese said that, but he thinks turtles are squirrels and Spence in the only pass rusher this team has.. shithaus got nailed by Roby(I believe) from one direction and Bosa hit him from the other. I didn't think it looked bad enough to keep a kid like Bosa down. I'm hoping he's alright.

Glad that he is good to go.

I think Bosa and Washington are both similar in that they are big guys that are pretty mobile. They can both play inside or outside and be effective. Washington has been slowed down by an ankle and a groin injury. As he heals up he will become more of a force.
