JOEY BOSA SUFFERS “SIGNIFICANT GROIN INJURY”
The elder Bosa brother’s third game of the season came to an early end on Sunday when he went down with a groin injury in the first quarter of the Los Angeles Chargers’ loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Chargers coach Brandon Staley told reporters Monday that Bosa’s injury is “significant” and that the former Ohio State defensive end will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis to determine when he can return.

Chargers' Joey Bosa placed on injured reserve with groin injury, Pro Bowler expected to return this season

A rocky start for the Chargers got even rockier on Wednesday when Brandon Staley announced that Pro Bowl pass rusher Joey Bosa will be placed on injured reserve with a groin injury. Bosa, who will undergo surgery while on injured reserve, is expected to return at some point this season.

Per NFL Media, Bosa will undergo surgery performed by Dr. William Meyers at the Vincera Institute in Philadelphia to correct a core muscle issue. There is no official recovery timeline, as Ian Rapoport reports that it can vary from case to case.

I'm glad no reporter stuck a microphone in Joey's face post game... else Joey would have lost a LOT of money in fines
He was blatantly held so many times.. but the kicker was the last Jags series (:27 mark) in which their right tackle moved early followed by Bosa being so obviously held it looked like a fix
Bosa then proceeded to slam his helmet and go ape shit


They missed a dozen holds but called him for his helmet being 4 inches across the line in a very crucial sack...
He's gonna need meds today else he's gonna have a heart attack

Plus that penalty on Bosa was on a TD play, and Jax decided to go for 2 from the 1-yard line, and that successful 2-pt conversion made it 30-28, and let the final FG be for the win rather than a tie.

It’s the playoffs , no holdings in Buffalo Miami. Vikings called for one by a crew that’s penalty happy all year. Jacksonville spent the first half whining about officiating once Peterson told them just play..they got calls. Staley should of got Bosa focused.
