Why read it? Why click on it?

Sports Illustrated and USA Today are pretty even-handed, but just for the sanity of OSU fans, avoid CBS Sports College Football and ESPN College Football sections of their websites. Parental Block them if need be.

It's one thing to be well-informed and it's another to read something that you already know what the opinion, tone or story will be. It's like ESPN CFB on TV. You already know the opinion of every analyst before they open their mouths.

This is my philosophy. I don't eat at restaurants I know serve bad food, so why would I read articles from sources I know to be schlock? Won't do it. I don't have enough time in my life to read crap like Dodd's articles.

Chuck E. Cheese has great Italian food.

I still remember for the 2009 and 2010 seasons, Dennis Dodd picked every Big Ten team to lose their respective bowl (for two consecutive seasons?).

Dodd complains about the bias involved in coaches basketball and football polls.

CBS

He's bitching because the coach at his alma mater (Mizzou) didn't win COY in the Big XII coaches vote. And he never even mentions the fact that Haith was involved in the Devin Shapiro scandal at Miami, which may have been a factor in the voting.

Keep railing about bias, Dennis. Because it highlights your hypocrisy.

In talking about Petrino, Dodd brings up Tressel, and he actually makes a significant statement.

I find it noteworthy since media members have normally grouped guys like Petrino and Bruce Pearl in with JT, when I think there's a significant difference in covering up one's own trangressions as compared to not reporting the transgressions of others.

CBS

All Tressel did was suppress damaging emails.

Cont'd ...
