Freshman highlight film. All clips are on the varsity level.

2013 Deveon Smith - Howland - RB4 - Promo

I really like his running style. Top end speed doesn't appear to be elite but he doesn't look like a slouch either.
Worm, I know you're very in tune with the recruiting scene up there, not just in football. Please tell me you weren't the one coordinating that music on DeVeon's tape. That was terrible. Just sayin'

I know Deveon very well, but I didn't make his film. Just sharing the link.

Howland wastes no time stinging Lakeside for three early touchdowns - Blitz 2010

In the first two minutes of the game, Howland scored two touchdowns on fumble recoveries, then added a 54-yard scoring burst from sophomore running back De?Veon Smith about two minutes later on the way to a 45-14 thumping of the Dragons.

Lakeside punted after its next possession and Howland took over on its 46. Smith made short work of the possession, breaking off for a 54-yard gallop. He added a 38-yard run for a touchdown early in the second quarter and finished with 110 yards on five carries.

According to the Howland program, he's listed as
6'0"
213#

He's every bit of 213#. He's a big kid for a Soph. More of a power back than a speed back.

I'm not sure Howland has much of a chance to beat Harding this week.

Deveon ran for 204 yards on 28 carries as Howland defeated Warren Harding 25-22. The amazing thing is that everyone on the other team knows that he is going to get the ball almost every play, but he still gets the yardage. On Howland's last posession, which used up most of the timeclock, Harding had to bring him down by the facemask 3 straight plays.
