BN$--Sophomore Running Back Makes His Mark

DeVeon was impressed with tOSU but says he does not have a favorite. He is interested in numerous schools including Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, USC, Alabama, and Iowa.

Same high school as Doug Datish.

Has a brother that played at Wisconsin. I don't think he's there anymore.

I really like his running style. Top end speed doesn't appear to be elite but he doesn't look like a slouch either.
Worm, I know you're very in tune with the recruiting scene up there, not just in football. Please tell me you weren't the one coordinating that music on DeVeon's tape. That was terrible. Just sayin'

I know Deveon very well, but I didn't make his film. Just sharing the link.

According to the Howland program, he's listed as

He's every bit of 213#. He's a big kid for a Soph. More of a power back than a speed back.

I'm not sure Howland has much of a chance to beat Harding this week.

Deveon ran for 204 yards on 28 carries as Howland defeated Warren Harding 25-22. The amazing thing is that everyone on the other team knows that he is going to get the ball almost every play, but he still gets the yardage. On Howland's last posession, which used up most of the timeclock, Harding had to bring him down by the facemask 3 straight plays.

Smith had 31 carries for 147 yards & 1 touchdown in Howland's 16-0 victory over Canfield.
