Well, at the risk of alienating some of our fiercer members... if it's down to Ohio State and Penn State... I don't think there is a wrong decision. He'll get a great education at either one (both in academics and in football). He just needs to work out which will be the better fit for him.

Then again... He should clearly pick OSU :wink:

Especially if he wants a shot at a National title. I am not sure he'll get it at Penn State.

Might want to use multi-quote next time Alex Boone Fan. Right next to the "quote" button on each post. Saves the trouble of more than one post when they are not necessary. Just a heads up...

I'm asking merely for information here, and not implying a thing... a recruit can contact the school/staff during the quiet period, correct? It's just the school/staff that can not initiate contact.

a school can't visit a recruit, but they can text and write letters, and the kid can do whatever they want.

I don't think it means anything... They were in their final stages of Bowl preparation, so were likely busy... I'd expect them to get in touch with him soon...

seems like he's been looking for reasons to go to psu so it probably doesn't matter but you'd think they could find 5 minutes to text him. OSU contacted him despite being in the midst of preparation for the National Championship game.

Different staffs, different philosophies... If he was looking for reasons to go to PSU, he'd have committed there already...
Devon seems to be someone that is very torn... He clearly likes both schools, and that's why he's having a tough time pulling the trigger either way... He had said all along that he would decide by now, and here is still undecided... So he's definitely wrestling with it, and we are very much in it...
