"One, he played [end] in college, so he has a little familiarity with it," Crennel said. "Plus, I think the kid wants to do it, because he's a local guy and he really wants to do it. This week, he's in the defensive meeting room watching film. That's a sign that the guy is motivated. In drills, he's leading the defensive linemen. His size also . . . things like that catch your eye."

This is great to hear. I really hope Simon makes the team and can make an instant impact. Since I'm a Brownies fan, I am even more excited by the news. He can definately come in and help this defensive line. Simon could end up being a great steal from free agency.

Simon Fraser announces engagement

From "This Week in Hilliard"

Mallory Harvey, daughter of Garth and Darlene Dahdah and Ken Harvey of Dublin ans Simon Fraser, son of Hamish and Marion Fraser of Upper Arlington, have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be graduated from Dublin Coffman High School in 2003 and is a student at Ohio State majoring in fashion merchandising.

The groom-to-be graduated from Upper Arlington High School and earned a bachelors degree in criminology from Ohio State. He plays for the Cleveland Browns in the National Football League.
