DT Adolphus "Diesel" Washington (Official Thread)

I doubt he plays much either next year. He could but if Williams comes back then don't see where he'd get minutes. Yeah he's that good but he won't be better than a 5th year Nate or 4th year Bellamy and obviously not Simon.

Loading up in 2011 and 2012 with talent will come in handy for the 2013 team as we lose A LOT of talent in Simon, Goebel, Williams if he comes back, and likely Hankins.

May take most these young guys besides Bennett until 2013 to see real time. Adolphus won't have problems passing guys like Baldwin and JT Moore.

Perry is another guy that could potentially play LEO. We'll be pretty overran with talent at the DE position if we get Pittman.

Someone needs to GIF that coach in the second angle of the pick-6.

Great looking prospect although he still is going to need some work. Tough to imagine a kid getting early time on OSU's D-line next season with Simon and Williams possibly returning, as well as Bellamy, Hankins, Moore, Baldwin, Hale, Bennett, etc...but Washington might push for time with the 2s at the LEO spot.

Great post Wad: Not too mention last year's version of Pittman and Washington (Miller and Hayes)!

Washington seems to have a unique skill set and brings a great motor. I think he competes and plays behind Williams next year. Also has a very high ceiling and a big frame. With Fick and Vrabel unleashing the silver bullets again guys like Washington will really thrive. Defensive line depth will be ridiculous if we add Pittman....which I really hope happens. Go Bucks

Cincinnati Taft standouts Adolphus Washington and Dwayne Stanford are expected to announced their college choices on Tuesday, and confidence is high around the Woody Hayes Athletic Center that both are going to pick Ohio State.

Nothing is certain, however. Washington, a defensive end who is possibly the best uncommitted senior left in Ohio, took an official visit to the University of Cincinnati last weekend. Before that, he reportedly had narrowed his choices to Alabama, Michigan and Ohio State. Meanwhile, Stanford, a receiver, is visiting Oregon this weekend for the Oregon-USC game.

Stanford was in Ohio Stadium for the Buckeyes? last-minute win over Wisconsin, and he said that ? walking away from Ohio Stadium that night, that was something crazy.? Ohio State fans probably should hope for a boring game and a miserable night in Eugene, Ore., on Saturday.

Several recruiting analysts have predicted that Stanford and Washington will both choose Ohio State, which would be a major plus for the program. The Buckeyes have 14 commitments to their 2012 recruiting class.
