C'mon now, that's nothing you should crow about.

edit:

Whoops, wrong crappy chick singer.

I fail at puns. :bonk:

Alanis, poor FCollins, he knew not Morrisette well.

Definitely don't see this as a wise decision if true.

1. To my knowledge, Pitt had no increased recruiting buzz following the Penn State debacle. That's even before Graham fled to ASU. The Penn State recruits are abandoning that place in droves it seems, but, unless I missed the news, not one has landed at Pitt in that time. This tells me that even though Penn State may be on the decline, recruits must not view Pitt as the logical replacement that others may.

2. There are legit challenges to recruiting here. Aside from the fact that the team struggles to compete on the big stage and gets embarrassed seemingly every time they appear on national TV, the campus, game day stadium, and training facility are all in different parts of the city which makes for a horrendous layout. They need a stadium and training facility on campus. Period.

3. If Pitt wants to hire you as the head football coach, you are probably not a desirable candidate. Not bashing Fickell, but taking a look back at their last 3 hires, they have brought in the Wannstache (terrible game day coach/decision maker), Haywood (criminal) and Graham (traitor). They haven't shown an ability to get the process right and since the same people are making the calls this time around, Luke Fickell should recognize the dumpster fire, stay on Meyer's staff, and perfect his craft for several more seasons. This isn't the job for him IMO.
