DT Robert "BB" Landers (Official Thread)

Great kid but one of the most overrated players to come thru. I think he’s the definition of a division 1 player who is not an NFLer, ala Tommy schutt. Maybe with a lot of dedication he can carve some niche in the pros.
Overrated? He's going to be a late round pick as it is.

He's insanely UNDERRATED. No one at DT has the quick get off like BB does and he's being sold short because of his size (no pun intended).

Someone is going to get a steal if they draft him and find a role for him. He is not a every down DT but he can be a very solid rotation guy if given the shot.

oh come on. I watched nearly all his snaps more than once and he was more of a right place right time kind of player early on. He wasn’t close to as impactful as dre’mont Jones/Jashon cornell/davon Hamilton. Great ambassador to say the least.

You get to the right place by being there at the right time. Meaning he was so quick and disruptive he was constantly in the backfield. There were a few sacks by our DEs because BB would force the QB to step up.

His size is an issue and looking at it a bit more... yeah I doubt he makes the NFL but if someone used him correctly he could do okay.
