Duke Blue Devils (that rat faced scumbag)

I don’t think they will. If the virus wasn’t around, they probably would include them because of ticket sales/fans traveling. However, the committee doesn’t have that excuse working for them. Duke has to win the ACC final. If they get to the finals.....maybe the committee throws them a bone.

They had to scratch and claw to beat BC the first time they played. Even if they get by them again, Louisville will work up a number 6 on them. I think Dook is done and it's glorious.

At least it saves them the embarrassment of not being selected this Sunday because of their play this season. Screwem!

You just hate to see it.

I was looking forward to them being left out based on lack of merit. Now they'll forever have an excuse as to why they missed the 2021 tournament.

I'm also not going to tempt karma by dancing on their Covid grave.

The exchange started at 9:54 a.m. ET when, in a quote of Duke's "March sadness tbh" tweet, Maryland attached and published a photo from the Terps' 2004 ACC championship win over the Blue Devils. Maryland notched its first ACC tournament title in 20 years March 14, 2004, when it upset Duke — then ranked No. 4 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll — with a 95-87 triumph.

Duke quoted the tweet, issuing its own response. It listed a side-by-side comparison of national championships (5-1), Final Fours (16-2) and conference-tournament titles (26-4) to Maryland. The Blue Devils also attempted to turn the Terps' shot at the two upset fans in the photo, adding at the end of the tweet, "And if Twitter can help us locate these fans, we will send some (fire) gear."

See Duke mascot photo: "Devils ♥ Turtle Soup" headband....

Legendary Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski will retire following the upcoming 2021-22 college basketball season, according to CBS Sports' Gary Parrish. Krzyzewski, who turned 74 in February and is famously known as "Coach K," has led the Duke to five NCAA Tournament victories, 12 Final Four appearances and 27 combined ACC titles in tournament and regular-season competition since taking over the program ahead of the 1980-81 season.

Duke assistant and former player Jon Scheyer is believed to be the heir apparent to Coach K, and an announcement to that end could be made as soon as Wednesday afternoon, according to Parrish.
