Duke Blue Devils (that rat faced scumbag)

I agree with him - Duke player was being a bitch and initiated contact and ended up getting blown up. Fuck em.

agreed. he wasn't out hunting for wake fans......they came to him. but that doesn't excuse him from trying to trip and shove people like a typical duke player.

if this wasn't against duke, the narrative would be completely different. but we have to protect poor lil duke at all costs for some fucking brainwashed reason.

Yes, I think so, unless they are willing to cordon off the court/field until the teams have left. It is wonderful that fans get excited but it also has its negative implications (e.g., damage to the playing surface from inappropriate shoes, players getting punched by fans, etc). Give the players 90 secs to get of the playing surface and then have at it.

There's no way court storming is gonna end because Kyle Filipowski got shoved a little bit. That being said, there needs to be a better standardized way of the visiting team being separated from the court storm. Obviously it takes a fast & furious, highly coordinated effort from event staff, but I think it can be done.

Gripes about court storms to me are mostly sour grapes. I even would also say fines for court storms are stupid. Kids should be able to have fun when they're in college, just make sure there's security for the visitors. No one is gonna stop it, just embrace it and work with it.

Meh, not entirely sour grapes. Kaitlyn Clark got drilled after we beat them this season by a fan also. Just delay them from storming for 10 seconds just so the other team can at least get back to their bench and head back to the locker room. If one of our star players got hurt by a mouth breather storming the court of field, I'd be livid.

First of all, Kaitlyn flopped. Second, why does it need to change now if it's been gone for the last 50 years? Is it suddenly more dangerous? Stop trying to nerf shit.

Hmmmm ... Duke fans throw water bottles and water at UNC players after losing, and Scheyer's comments in the post-game are about apologizing ... to the Duke fans? What a joke Duke has become. No backbone when it comes to policing their own. Only target for discipline is opponents when they offend Duke somehow. No wonder why this program has had some cheap shot artists over the years.

The seventh-ranked Tar Heels gathered by the midcourt sideline near the "Cameron Crazies" and waved goodbye in a taunting farewell, only to be answered by several people throwing water and empty plastic bottles at them in frustration.
what the fuck? Fans throwing shit at any other place is cause for a DEEP dissection of that fanbase. But when Duke does it, we get a little blaming of UNC along with an explanation of how they were frustrated? Fuck off.

Imagine this. It wasn't water bottles that hit the players, it was other fans. And imagine it wasn't Duke that was doing the hitting, it was another team doing it to Duke. Oh wait......we don't have to imagine. It happened few weeks ago and the world called for the end of court storming. But when Duke does the shitty thing we need to understand they were "frustrated".
