Maybe they realize that an education from Duke will put then on a more sure path to succes than the long shot that is the NFL?

Funny thing is Duke recruited me out of high school a long time ago and my thoughts were more along with yours. They lost more games in one season than I had in my entire playing career. College changed that also.

Zack Asack should have gone to Oregon to hear the announcer say "The Quack Attack led by Zack Asack". Instead he is going to Duke where he'll hear: "That smack was the seventh sack on Zach Asack!"

Wasn't that the name of Zach's band on Saved by the Bell?

If that #1 recruit is going to play BB, how can he be the #1 recruit? Don't these idiotic ranking services take that into account? Similar to how Bauserman was "dinged" a few spots for the fact that he might never play college football.

actually duke, i believe, is up and coming w/ their coach. they actually had an elite 11 qb commit to them (joe cox), but he decommitted, i believe after they signed delle donne. cox really shined at the camp and is someone i definetly wouldn't mind seeing play for us. cox will join his independence, n.c. (same school as c. leak) hs wr teammate, massaqouri (sp?), at georgia. Asack was signed after cox left.

Where the hell is Cincinnati-South Xavier?!?! Get a clue-the guy who put this chart together must be an Elder grad!
Also, the #12 kid is going to Boise frickin' State. I know they run a crazy offense there, but c'mon, do you really want to play on a Cookie Monster colored field in Idaho?

I really scares me that you remember that....it scares me more that I remember "Zach Attack".

...and scariest of all? Read the first review...

That is an interesting question. What criteria do they use to decide whether to include the kid or not?

LeBron would have arguable been the #1-2 FB prospect in Ohio his senior year, but wasn't listed because everyone knew he was going pro.

I'm guessing that some smug genius was thinking to himself..."St. ST?! They don't even know how to abreviate South correctly in Ohio!" lol

Muck, Good point on Lebron. Paulus will be basketball only at Duke, so it's pointless to rank him #1 at QB. But then you can't really be wrong about his college football career, can you?
