Game Thread Eastern Michigan at tOSU, Sat Sep 25, 3:30 ET ABC/ESPN

Bold prediction for the game;

OSU-over 450 yards and over 40 points
EMU-significantly less of both

The preview guys are going to earn their rep trying to make this one interesting. Holy God are EMU's numbers bad.

Honestly they might not be the worst in college football this year. Colorado State really sucked it up against Miami this past weekend. That being said. No way EMU comes within 40. I'd be more scared if they were playin Youngstown State.

So I have a question does anyone care enough at Eastern M. to troll us.

I care a fair amount for my alma mater; but delusion is not something that runs rampant at that University. Being 10 minutes east of that Whore Up North can help anyone get proper perspective. I loved my time there. What's truly interesting is that being that close to Michigan really forged the steel of my hatred for scUM. Being there during the Cooper years was doubly tough.

yikes

a google search brought this up

- In 2009, EMU had by far the lowest attendance of any FBS team, averaging 5,016 fans at 5 games, for a total of 25,080. The next-lowest attendance was FIU, averaging just over twice as many attendees as EMU. In addition to a whole bunch of FCS schools, this was lower than 25 Division II schools and one Division III school (St. John?s, in Minnesota).

Luckily my Google isn't broken so I was able to find out that Ron English is their head coach*.

Link

*I am sure that has nothing to do with EMU's 15 game losing streak, 117th ranked rushing defense or 108th ranked scoring defense.

You guys are lucky. At least you can skip/carry a radio/tv. The wedding I'm attending that day is my own. A year and a half ago, we specifically picked Sept. 25 at 6PM because EMU was going to be a lead-pipe lock for noon on BTN. :2004:

Damn bro congratulations!!!!!!

I suspect, were that staff inclined to beat someone by 100 points, this is a game you would at least have to take a brief pause to consider. I wonder if they might not be better off just changing their name to the Emu's, then just running 11 flightless birds on to the field each series. At least that would be more entertaining than the product that they currently put on the field. And no one would get hurt.

Last week the score of the the game with FredOU(thank you ORD), easily could have been 56-0, that seems like a safe bet this week, so that's what I'm gonna go with.

That honor would belong to the New Mexico Lobos...followed closely by the Washington State Cougars.

I can't believe this will be a 3:30 kick. 11 hours in the RV parking lot before the game is going to be a long day, especially since my biggest tailgating group (and Jager supplier) won't be there.

But, I still get my ticket to the game, so its all good.

If this guy had bypassed Suth Ben for Ypsilanti, he could have gone right from QB to mascot.
