When I attended Eastern (93-97), the school had 26000 students, but only 6k lived on campus.
I doubt that's changed.
Hard to have a legitimate D1 team at a commuter school
Even 20 years ago, they never filled the stadium and the question was floating as to what exactly the hell they were doing.
As I understand it, they hardly filled the stadium that had been there beforehand, but had to have a certain capacity to continue playing D1.
